All Hell, the King of Sodom
We started the series of "Turning the World Upside Down" stating that there is a connection between rampant homosexuality and Satan's plan for mankind. The past six posts have outlined how Satan is creating an upside down kingdom of spiritual sodomites who are alienated from God. The purpose, however, is not only to make man the enemy of God, but to set the world stage for the crowning of his prince - the Anti-Christ.
One description of a type of the Anti-Christ defines him as the character of a sodomite.
"And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all." Daniel 11:36-37
Self-willed...self-absorbed...idolatrous...blasphemous...disrespectful to God and Godly authority...no desire for the opposite sex... Remember, we already showed how homosexuality is an expression of self-love.
The New Testament has the following to say:
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." II Thessalonians 2:3-4
The Anti-Christ does not care about anyone or anything but himself. He is completely selfish, a perfect sodomite. So how is it that the world receives him as a messiah-like figure? Because the King of Sodom is being crowned by a world of sodomites. The Anti-Christ is able to rise to preeminence in the world because the people are just like him; and by exalting him, they are exalting themselves.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." II Timothy 3:1-5
The primary and predominant trait of mankind in the end of time is self-love! When you examine the Scriptures, it is clear how Satan - who tries to exalt himself above God and impose his will over God's will - can only be adored and received by those who are just like him. How can two walk together unless they are agreed?
So, while homosexuality is not the only sin, it is important to understand what the proliferation of the sodomite agenda means about the state of mankind and the rise of the Anti-Christ. Is there any question why we are seeing a simultaneous rise in homosexuality, lawlessnes in children, and the positioning of women as leaders in world arenas? Church, please wake up. The time for being complacent about the Word of God is over. No longer can you afford to be lukewarm, but you must choose. To simply say, "Well, I don't agree with it but only God can judge" is simply an illustration of your willingness to compromise on God's Word.
This we know, Jesus Christ was made manifest to destroy the works of the devil. Just as sin and death entered the world through the first Adam, the the last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45) comes to give life and to re-establish the Kingdom of God. How? By killing off the rebellious, Adamic seed that is at the root of the upside down kingdom.
"Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." Luke 17: 28-30
"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." II Timoty 4:1-2
